We learn how to communicate at a very early age and then forget to keep learning this highly complicated and significant skill. This session will offer actual skill building exercises in a variety of areas, including assertion theory, conflict resolution, non-verbal communication, two-way communication and listening. Learning how to say what you want or what you are feeling and hear what others are saying and feeling is a significant part of this training experience. This session will challenge you to consider your current level of effective communication and provide you with useful tips on how to be even more effective. Is there room for improvement?

Finding Your Communication Style – This skill development session explores the way you choose to express yourself, your mission and interact with others.

Head Games: Internal Dialogues and Inspiration – What conversation goes on in your head that influences what comes out your mouth? This session explores the psychology behind our internal talk and how that influences your leadership effectiveness.

Managing Upwards: Strategies for Being Influential in Organizations – To effectively lead, you need to understand why people follow. This session explores the dynamics of influence up and down the latter.
