Speakers Travel Considerations

Whether booked through an agent, conference planner, or directly with Nancy Hunter Denney, partial travel arrangements are made directly by the speaker. Specifically, the client is not responsible for making flight reservations, but is responsible for making hotel arrangements, and when requested helping to pick or return speaker to the airport.

A standard travel expense fee of $500.00 is added to the speaking fee. Although many speakers will claim “no hidden expenses” Nancy chooses to let you know upfront how much you are paying for speaking services without the variability of airfare and other expenses. This allows to you to make more informed decisions about the value of her leadership training services and platform performance.

The $500.00 fee covers airfare, airport parking, travel to and from the originating airport and meals in route. This fee does not include the hotel at the speaking location, airport pick-up/departure (when agreed upon) or meals while at the hotel. The client is responsible for making hotel reservations and payment (via direct bill or company credit card.) Nancy greatly appreciates your knowledge of the area and relationship you may have already established with local hotels.

When requested, the client may be asked to pick the speaker up at the airport. As a courtesy, transportation back to the airport is requested if it is not provided by the hotel.

Experience has made it necessary to request that either an individual over the age of 21 (i.e. not a student driver please) or a professional driver or limo service pick up the speaker. This enhances the speaker's safety and provides assurance that she arrived and is ready to be a part of your program.

The hotel specifics...

The speaker requests accommodations at hotels that provide workout facilities and room service (i.e., Marriott, Holiday Inn, Hyatt, Sheraton, etc.). If these are not available, please discuss potential arrangements directly with the speaker, who is most accommodating. Please reserve hotel room(s) under the name of Nancy Hunter Denney with guaranteed late arrival and direct bill to the client (unless otherwise arranged.) A non-smoking king-sized bed is also requested. The speaker will not charge alcohol or long distance calls to the hotel bill.
