Greek Programs Introduction

It is my distinct pleasure to introduce today’s speaker – a high energy, dynamic individual with a passion for life and leadership.

Since founding her own speaking business in 1993, Nancy Hunter Denney has earned a reputation as one of the country’s top speakers in higher education. She has spoken to literally hundreds of Greek systems and conferences across the country sharing her personal strategies of inspiration, leadership and change. Her dynamic speaking style has brought her to over 800 college campuses and earned her appearances with Dr. Phil, Suze Orman, Soledad O’Brien and Dana Reeve.

Ms. Denney has addressed numerous national and regional conferences in the Greek community drawing upon personal experiences working with fraternities and sororities. Her first experience made national headlines in 1982 for serving as the youngest house mother to a fraternity in the country.

From there, Ms. Denney worked in student activities at CWRU before becoming the assistant dean of students for special programs and Greek life at WPI. She is the author of four books including Zing! and Lessons from the Road.
