First year graduate internship was serving as the youngest house mother in the country to a fraternity. This live-in position provided a unique perspective on fraternity life.  Duties also entailed working with the Greek life team to plan and implement leadership training opportunities for one of the largest Greek systems in the Mid-West.

LDS, LLC, but originally established as a full time professional speaker in 1993, Nancy Hunter Denney began speaking with the vision of providing clients with a high energy, memorable and inspirational presentation style combined with relevant content and original material.  Clients include institutions of higher education and their related conferences, non-profit helping organizations, women's professional development conferences, associations and corporations committed to serving others.  With appearances on over 900 institutions of higher education, and at numerous national, regional, and state conferences, Nancy Hunter Denney has a reputation for representing quality in speaking services, program development, collaboration in outcome identification, content rich handout materials and residual learning impact.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA

Initial responsibilities included student activities, all campus programming board, club sports, Greek life, new student orientation, parent programs, women's programming, student leadership training and special programs. Responsibilities shifted to Greek life and new student orientation. In the area of Greek life this position included all officer training, Greek judicial training, liaison with chapter advisors, alumni boards, national officers and chapter officers, and serving as Interfraternity/Panhellenic and Greek Council advisor. Other functions included: new student and parent orientation.

Responsibilities included working as a member of the Thwing Center staff and advising all aspects of the campus programming board from event planning to event supervision. Areas of expertise included promotion of events, recruitment and retention of volunteers and creative programming.
